Mind-Body Wisdom: Understanding Your Soul’s Responses

Most people don’t realize that you can feel your soul without ever laying eyes on it. You don’t have to be a psychic or have any other special abilities. You just need to be able to find 10 minutes of quiet alone time.

I want you to find your quiet place and say positive statements to yourself. Like “I love you” “You’re doing your very best” I am grateful to have this body. And pause to see how that feels in your body. Do you feel positive sensations? Are they around your heart? Your stomach? The back of your head? Notice where you feel the sensations.

Now say something negative about yourself. “You did a bad job”, “What A terrible decision”, or “Why did you say that?” and then pause to see how that feels in your body. Did the positive sensations go away? Where are you feeling negative sensations? Do you feel any pains or urges?

Getting to know how positive and negative talk feels in your body lets you know how your soul speaks to you during your day to day life.  So, when you are presented with difficult decisions, you can listen to your body’s responses.

There is a catch to this though.

If you have unresolved trauma, your body won’t feel good when that trauma gets triggered.  Get into the habit of sitting with unpleasant feelings. What triggered them? What the person or event in the wrong, or did they trigger something that needs to be explored and healed? How do these sensations feel different from your soul communicating with you?  Eventually, you’ll learn the difference between triggers that need to be healed and your soul telling you something is wrong.

If you do this practice, I want to hear from you! How has this soul embodiment practice changed your life? Has it helped you make life choices? Are you happy with the outcome?
